The guy is dead...stop firing.

So, I'm making a mission. In it, there's an empty MG(east), and a civilian is manning it. Once the AI kills the civilian, they keep on firing on the MG. What the hell is that about? Even though there are other enemy nearby, they're still firing on the empty MG. Any ideas on how to stop this, or possible causes?

See, now I'm embarassed for not following the guidlines. I don't have my answer yet, but I've learned a lesson.
