seawall and trench
« on: 02 Apr 2003, 15:22:55 »
making new omaha-beach now, very detailed and realistic using good sources, but like u know there is couple of problems with wrp to get any smaller cell than 50mx50m, so its not possible to do seawall or trench so, could somebody do 3 meters high seawall crossable by AI, textured as resistance pt.paa ground texture maybe one cell (50m) long part that can be connected to other.Trench that is sinked to ground not edges coming over the ground textured inside like woodwall straight and cornered ones and one with exit to the ground level hight could be right if man can shoot over the edge, also notised that the walls are not set to correct as ones whe have allready AI can run trough walls mostly not good.Binarized that those can be used in wrp editor ;)lot of requests but map will be too good also so its worth of :)i may also look pictures who make these to help all i can.

someone should make a building like a wall and have a bunker at at the bottum so u can enter, like in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, then u can have ladders to climb up to get to the top

The Moh bunkers are neat. But I have never seen them or their like in Normandy.
I think the great war mod had a good idea when they cut a big hole in the terrain and made the trenches an object or something and dropped it in to the hole.
If you get what I mean.?:)

I think AWOL made an Island (Malden DDay) where he made a large D-Daybunker and put it into that Island!
U can enter it down at the beach and then go up some stairs!
It's made on the same way dday meant, with the hole!!!
