I'm sorry if this has already been thought of, and if it has, please disregard/delete this post.
I personally love the pack, and use it quite frequently in my missions now. Thank you, snYpir. I was wondering however why there weren't any single strikes (Say, a tactical missile strike) that did a lot of damage with one shot, and would clear the area... It seems logical to me, because with a 30 second artillery barrage, you don't always hit your target, and you frequently don't kill it if it's armored... With close air support, you risk losing a chopper... With missiles, you could strike a target quickly and without endangering yourself as much (at least, I think), and it would also really be effective against armor and fortified positions.
Also, a problem I had with the artillery was that I could never time it right... The target always either died within 5 seconds of a 120-second barrage, or wasn't even grazed with a 30-second one. Both situations mean I can't move up right away, because there's either an enemy on the ground, or shells pounding into the ground... Both would prove quite capable at stopping any advance that I plan. I believe a missile strike could solve this problem.
Perhaps it could be a modified maverick with the explosive properties of an LGB? I do not know if it is possible to start a missile off with the engine ignited, but I believe the idea holds some merit if it's possible.
