Parachute Weapons

lright, I'm trying this again...

I placed a Resistance Parachute unit on the map and set it to flying.

I modified his weapon load to include a sniper rifle.

I previewed the mission and everyhting looked good. He had the sniper rifle while he floated down.

Then, when he landed on the ground, his weapon changed to the AK 47.

How can I stop this?? I really need the parachuteist to have a sniper rifle. And i don't want to fly over the spot in a chopper. Plz help :-\

Try it like this:

Make an empty parachute, give it a name (i.e. chute_1) and set it to Flying.
Then create a soldier with the wanted weapon and write into the soldiers init field:

this moveInDriver chutename

Should work... If not, then it wont  ::)


Your problem BTW sounds a bit weird....

A bug perhaps...  ;)
