Yea; sry man but these addons only work in resistance; resistance is realy worth its price, you will see a great difference in OFPR from OFP, so if u want the addons to work; get OFPR

ATTN ALL PEOPLE.

Do not trust the versions of the LB's from other sites. If you are having trouble getting missions to work due to LB problems make sure you download the latest version (1.1) from the BAS site and follow the installation instructions carefully

Also...remove all traces of other LB's before installing the above mentioned version.

First off, fantastic stuff as ever from BAS!!

I didn't see this in the readme, or in this threas, but forgive me if it's been mentioned already.  When playing the delta demo mission at the factory, equipped with the MP5 SD Aimpoint, every time I fire a single shot, I hear about 5 rounds being fired at about 1 second intervals (roughly).

Anyone else experienced this?

Cheers,
Teeps

The machine is 1.2 Ghz Athlon with 256 Mb RAM, GeForce 2MX400 as the weak link.  It doesn't have any problems with the other Delta mission, even without choosing the 'lite' option.  When the MP5 fires the gameplay continues, everything else is normal, just for each shot I fire I hear 6 rounds going off at intervals.

So something else I think, but thanks for the suggestion ;)

To all those with queries on the tinted goggles:

What you may know is the fact that the human eye can benefit from different color variations. The reasoning behind the illumination of Night Optical Devices in green is due to the fact that images are best defined in green, and therefore, the eye and mind can capture the "picture" of the environment best. Generally, this is common knowledge.

What may not be known, however, is the fact that motion to the human eye is best defined in yellow. With camoflauge giving enemies the opportunity to blend into the environment, the best way to detect presence is through the eye's recognition of movement. Anything to help better detect and define movement gives information on your surroundings and knowing your surroundings is a key to survival. With this, you will often find goggles tinted in yellow.

Cheers mates - Any other questions, feel free to queue up and ask...

Is it really just me then?  If so I guess  it must be some conflict with another add-on...

teeps - we're looking at it mate, see if it is a problem at our end, if not (we don't know yet), it must be your soundcard...

If its any help in your looking into it, the sound card is a VIA ac97 built in to the mobo (I know it sucks, but not a cash priority!)

teeps,
Via AC97 onboard sound units tend to have bad latency and i have seen them slow down applications like you would not believe, especially games. That onboard sound unit could easily be the problem, especially since they are not 100% hardware accelerated like most other sound cards today.

Indeed Teeps, that may be where your problem lies...

After your complaint/suggestion/pointer I dusted off the old 16 bit soundcard (I normally use a SoundBlaster Audidgy Platinum 6.1 digital balh balh blah) an whacked that in, and with considerable numbers of units I noticed 2 things:

1. Your "echoy" shots

2. The Machineguns (all of them, even the BIS ones) "popping" as the sound doesn't play properly...

so... I'm afraid that it might be your sound letting you down teeps... it might be time to invest in a new one... (in the UK they range from £30 to £200, depending on what speakers you wanna drive...)
