Can someone please explain the characters like
!  ? # > < and all that happy stuff and how to say (in scripting languag) if unit one is dead goto partII kinda have and Idead but just want to make sure thanks.

you solved the thread  ::) ! means not, ? is if, # is just a label used with goto and < & > are less than and more than, if you download the unofficial command reference they're all in there.
