Scripted objects v placed by editor

Have recently made a map for nam called tigerland.
It uses an awful lot of extra bushes and trees and due to this can only really support a 5 v 5 game
The items have been placed using the editor
My question is
If i placed them using a script (Although a long and laborius task)
Instead of using the editor, would this help reduce lag and allow me to make the same map for more players

I wouldn't have thought it would make any difference...
The object is still on the screen being rendered no matter how it came to be...
However having said that, I haven't done any testing on the subject

f you made an island with WRPEdit, use that to place bushes, trees, etc. and it won't hinder performance at all.
