p3d's into wrpedit
« on: 16 Dec 2002, 04:35:41 »
I have been working on an Island for the past few weeks in Wrpedit and have kinda hit a snag.

I have been trying to add a few third party addons onto the map. Models like bunkers, oil storage tanks, hemp plants etc. Normally these objects are added in the OFP mission editor but I wanted to include them on my island since they are more permanent aspects of the island. When I add the p3d files to the map (after putting into the dta file) most come up giving me a message "unable to load model old (demo) format". Some of these have been made with oxy. I have managed to put 2 p3d's into wrp edit from a pbo called Abox, which is 2 ammo crates with different textures.

Is there some reason why these models cannot be added into Wrpedit? I understand why non static ones cannot but these are objects like buildings. Does something have to be done to the pbo file?

binarize your addon p3d's it will turn them
into the ODOL format WrpEdit uses.
WrpEdit dont like MLOD which i guess
your addons are.
