Paratroopers, out of plane
« on: 16 Dec 2002, 02:03:13 »
I want to take an addon unit I downloaded, a C47, and have it paradrop a bunch of troops somewhere. I tried using the eject scripts written for helicopters but the C47 drops the troops then does a fricking nose dive into the ground. And I would like to know how I can make planes start off at a certain height or climb to an altitude so that when the paratroopers come spilling out of the back of this adddon C47 they don't break their legs.

heh, I found the answer I wanted....if anyone else wants to do this, just copy the ejecting troops script and stuff, and instead of using a chopper use a C47. And if you want to remedy the problem of the plane slamming into the groung just go to this: http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse/index.php?board=10;action=display;threadid=1186   Now you can do whacky crap like sending in a massive airborne invasion force to land in the midst of the enemy.
