Outro win/loose

Im having problems getting my outros to work, win or loose.
If say a unit called 'LT', bites the dust how do i get the outro 'loose' to function.
And if LT and his squad kill all the gooks grouped named as 'VC', how do i get the win outro to work.  ::)
Basicly LT and his men must defend a base, until the god dam gooks die or flee out the area.
By the way how many units can be grouped together to one unit?

Well i'm not sure about the rest but to activate a trigger when LT dies type...

use !(alive unit) instead, it's quicker.

To start the outro make type (i think) loose - it's the thing with end 1 and the rest.
