Well, by the end of march, I'm gonna send it to 3 people (or sites) in a CD.  One to Robbo who is our leader, ofp.info site, and also to the Addon Depot of OFPEC.  Are they still active? I never saw updates so.  Oh ya, a news about our site is up over at the ofp.info (darn, they are pretty fast in updating their site....)

Good news CSOMM.
You're doing a fantastic job on this one. The only drawback is that I've got to upgrade my PC to be able to play it   :'( But I'm sure it will be worth it :)

Yeah,,, deffinitely need a upgrade if you have a spec below P4 1.2Ghz, 256MB RAM, TNT2 or Geforce 2 video cards.... That's the only thing that draws people back from my island.... But I'll guarantee you that it is worth it.... especially if you're going to play online games or LAN games :-)

CAT_SHIT_ONE_MM  your map is truly a remarkabale piece of work m8!

The screen shots are amazing, but i was wondering if you could post
a picture of the whole of the Afghan map. I realise its not finished yet, but it would give us a good indication of the size of the island and perhaps give us some idea how you have placed the towns villages and mountain ranges. Im interested to see what it looks like from above, like some kind of satellite photograph to display the whole map.

Time to upgrade...

I just got a GeForce4 128MB DDR RAM card but this has hardly  speeded up flashpoint at all (previous card was a GeForce2). I suspect the culprit is my processor (1.2Ghz Athlon running at 1Ghz because of older motherboard). Am I gonna have serious problems on this map if I don't upgrade  ???

Your MB will be the bottle neck most likely expecially if it can't support over 1Gb. It will have slower AGP and FSB than what your Gforce and Athlon can actually run at  ;)

Back on topic. This has to be one of, if not the best map I have seen for OFP. Looks like it is very detailed with variety of landscape and objects. Great work, my 56k will have a hard time but I'm going to get it  ;)

hmm,,, strangelove.... Not "SIGNIFICANTLY" would it lag.  But if you go to some rural areas,,, you might experience one.  I'm making 3 resolution lods for each of my buildings (the 3rd resolution lod for all building only uses "6" faces......) but still you might need atleast a 1.2Ghz as I announced earlier (I think.)  I tried it out in my brothers Lap Top and it moved smoothly with 10 soldiers and 2 tanks (in the medium size village.)

Gday Mate...
Im considering upgraded my whole Pc CAT..partially because of this great looking island..with the advances of Anims and Oxygen OFP completely opened up again and extended its lifespan..this Island that looks great..will do for OFP what SEBNAMPACK did..new dimensions ;)
All we need is a great addon pack to go with it..Oxygen made Afghans (w/ women and children)..realistic Alliance tanks with MG's all over..And if at all possible with use of anims horses etc.. (zzzzzz....)..
If i can get a hold of the Voice control Program for OFP ive seen around.. i cant see myself ever stopping  OFP...
Anyway keep it up CAT..You da Man
MadAussie Out........

BTW could you please make the objects easily accessible with WRPedit....
