Well Cat as for the bridge, it would depend on what type of bridge you use.  If its the standard OFP bridge then I would place it connecting roads and just a few house's on each side.  There are alot of places where there are bridges but very little civilization around it.  If you created a bridge with less structure (wood) then I would just place it by itself with 1 house off in the distance.  Some times less is more.

I would like to see a bridge going from cliff to another. So high that if you fall from it, you will die ;D.

hi nerves.  I attempted on making a cave using oxygen but the oxygen doesn't support objects larger than 64m^3 (64 meters to the 3rd power.)

I want to try making it into separate models and connect it together but that is when I have time.  I was accepted to the colleges I've applied so it is only my school work left.  My school moves on a system called PACE and it allows students to move on their own pace.  So I'll be able to finish rest of my pace around mid march.  Then I'll have tons of free time until I enroll to the college :-)

Hey guyz.  Oh ya nevrez.  I made a cave.  The result??? DARN IT IS COOL......... I made a short mission where a F16 flies right infront of the cave and I felt like one of those talibans trying to shoot them down with the stinger.  First picture of the cave.

Thanks SFG.

For the bridges, give me a little time, since today is Friday, I have more time to work on these things so. :-)

That cave looks very good, especially if you use the same textures as the surrounding landscape. Only problems I see are how AI will use the caves and how you make some lights in it.

Maybe the lights could be made so that there is a place in cave where player/AI can sit (a cargo proxy) just like in zwadar's bench addon. And then add front lights to it as lamps so the player/AI who "sits" in the cave could use "Lights off/Light on" action. Just a crazy thought ;D.

Hmm,,, I thought of adding a lamp.... I have to figure out how to make it work though ;D

The cave is set in the map as a "HOUSE" and not a rock so AI will enter the caves by setting the positions in the wrp editor (pos#1,#2,#3)

The only thing is that the AI can not get there......... since it is drilled into a cliff object..........  I need more ideas.... ugrr, ugrr,,,, please give me ideas.  Aww,,, how about just using the caves for multi player?? But it'll be better if AIs could use it to..... I wonder if BIS will ever release a OFP 2 where they have improved game and graphic engines.  Anyone hear about it?

Oh well, next is a better bridge.....Place where people could use the bridge are pretty limited because the freaking game allows player to climb up 70 degree "CLIFFS" to.

Are you going to make those caves indestructible (spelling :-X)? It might look funny if you could blow them up because OFP, as we all know, warps all objects that are destroyed. So destroyed caves would look quite strange :P.

You can always use setpos -command in mission editor to put AIs in caves or on cliffs ;).

Well I'm sure most people would prefer bridges because they are much faster (and cooler ;D).

yup it is indestructable.  Which means it is not able to be destroyed.  AI could move on top of the cliff objects but can't get there...... should I make it kind of like a stair?  Well I'll try everything.  I just woke up now, I might give some improvements to my caves and some houses and go out with my friends paint balling.  I'll post some more pics when I get back. :-)
