Great addon.  I just downloaded it yesterday and had a lot of fun with it.  The problem is that I am one of those with the lock ups.  I have no idea why it locks up, like the many others said.  I have a high end system, so there is no reason for it to lock up. My specs:
Pentium 4 2.53 Ghz
768 PC800 RDRAM
GeForce 4 Ti4200 128 MB
80GB Hard Drive
SbLive! Value Sound Card
1536 mb Swap File
Windows XP SP1

And yes, I have turned off all the necessary programs, etc.

First, let me say Great Addon Pack!

I really like the work you've done so far!

Unfortunately, I too have the lock problem with this addon pack..  It's on my beta mission Killing Fields (on these forums) and several other people have had the problem... (It does have a lot of enemies and stuff going on, but my comp and others should be able to handle it easily)  ::)

I'm using Win98 still so I don't think I can get an error report..  (right?)

So..  here's my comp specs if it helps cause I really like this addon pack!

AMD Thoroughbread 1.7 Ghz
256 MB DDR RAM
Xtasy 64 MB DDR GeForce4 Mx 440  4 x AGP Graphics card (that's a long name)  ::)
Phillips Acoustic Edge Soundcard
Western Digitial 7200 RPM Hard Drive
And other pretty good stuff...   ::)

Not sure if it helps, but we can try right?   ;D

SEB Nam 2 Problem
 :help:

I'm having a problem with the SEB Nam 2 pack - essentially when I try to load Operation Flashpoint:Resistance, Windows crashes and the computer restarts.

I've been checking the different files and it's:

sebnam_vl.pbo

that's causing the problem in the res/addon folder (though also if I put it in the usual addon folder)

Has anyone else had this problem ?
Or know of a solution ?

I've managed to play medevac and was very impressed with the pack but it's a shame about this.

Other info:
2.5Ghz, 512Meg ram, RADEON 9700
Windows XP Home

All help gratefully received,

Thanks,

Chris

erm, from the sounds of it youre using both addons folders, this is where the problems begin, you should put all your addons (barring BIS addons) in one folder (preferably res/addons as then you can play 1.46 error free), once youve sorted it out it should work...

Ok people. I have an idea for the nam pack. To make the regular Vc/nva soldiers fire at aircraft why don't we make all of the guns for the east machineguns but with ak47 models and things?

Hi guys

I just saw some pictures of an M-48 of the 25th Infantry Division's cavalry squadron that had PSP (pre-fab runway planks) on the flanks, kind of like armor skirts, to prematurely detonate RPG rounds. Though it's probably extra work, it might be cool to have an M-48 with this on it.

This book has the pics:

Many thanks for the suggestion - certainly worth a try (which I've now done):
Unfortunately the problem remains.

I've noticed however that it's not just the SEBNam2 pack - there are several other files that don't want to go into the addon directory including the Camel (plane), map symbols, Hercules and some others.  I don't therefore think it's a problem with the SEBNam2 pack but maybe something with how the computer is set up(?) or the directory (?)

I'll try contacting codemasters + others for suggestions but obviously if anyone here has heard of anything like it I'd be happy for the solution

Thanks for trying,

Yep, Up to 1.90 with the appropriate Red Hammer compatability patch.

Graphics and sounds drivers up to date (Radeon 9700 now has no flickering textures - hurrah !)

Any suggestions ?

Does it have any effect? If not it could just be the ofp res bug, it happens sometimes, doesnt do any damage...
