Has anybody figured a way to fix the day ambient sounds yet?  I see about six posts referring to this, but nobody seems to address the problem.

I've tried to replace the existing .ogg sounds with the ones from Jungle Everon, but to no avail.  I'm sure someone's figured this out by now.

I tried to load Ia Drang into WRPedit, but that doesn't work.  I'm sure this is something simple.

I think SelectThis don't want this info to spread out. He promised to fix the sounds in the next version. Just be patient.

until then, there are a couple of alpha islands over at ofpnam.com

They are "unsupported" alpha versions, and may or may not be updated by Aeon.
If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them.

Somebody modified other addons to get nva vehicles. Nampack2.0 required for the pack uses nva units as drivers. Not bad.

Actually I test and proceed to minor tweak with sebnampack2, by adding new impact sounds. That's great! the firefight seems more intensive !! ;D  ;D
The inconvenient is that MAY increase crash/freeze :-\ SelectThis is the most qualified to answer and confirm or cancel this possibility.
Does anybody have seen him recently on IRC or OFPEC Forums ?

Aeon,

I am around. Been busy with RL work. When I have time I have been going through every model we made for NP2 to check the selections...quite tedious :(

The SEB team have been taking a long break from the nam pack stuff, working on some BAS projects. But once those are done we'll return back to NP2 and work on the next series of projects and bug fixes.

Ebud/Aeon, send me the islands and I can have a look at them when I get some time (pretty unlikely but you never know :)) if you want.

I modified sebnam_obj, now you can burn a hut (like for a simple fire with action menu or via editing "this inflame true"). This don't work for original huts on Ia Trang, you need to add new one from the editor
I hope my improvement will interest SEB team for their next update

PS : improvement inspired by CAT SHIT ONE MM works

Wow that looks amazing :o. Aeon could you release that fire effect as an addon on it's own with a fire sound possibly?

fire sound included, but I can't release it as an independant addon because the hut model and texture belong to SEB team

Thanks, again, SEB team, for this amazing mod... Flashpoint is my favourite game of all time and the Nam Pack is the best bit of it! There is so much mileage in your stuff that I hardly bother with the original game or with other addons anymore.

Glad to hear that you intend to add more after your break.

Can't wait.  :D

I tried a search but I couldn't come up with anything. I seem to be having trouble offloading soldiers in LZ Albany. The helo wont land and it boots me out in mid air. Is this a common problem or our others having it.

Another minor improvement, RPG-2 can now lock and fire on infantry :)
(RPG-2 still weaker than RPG-7, but definitively a great general-purpose weapon against air,armored,infantry)

Rockets locking on ppl isn't any fun (if you're the one firing the rocket)

I don't think it's a fair idea.  :(

sorry for misunderstanding, RPG-2 unit AI or player can only fire on infantry (and armored/air of course)
