Saving a mission
« on: 08 Nov 2002, 22:16:07 »
Why is it that when you try to save a mission over the top of a mission, (example... you save a mission as "firefight", then later you work on it some more, and try to save it as "firefight") that it never saves any of the information?  Am I doing something wrong?

Help!

You mean that wh4en you export your mission to single player missions (or multiplayer) from the editor when you already have one saved with the same name it doesn't save any of the changes you made? Well, I had the same problem, and the only thing you can do -as far as I know- is to delete the mission, the .pbo from the flashpoint/missions folder b4 you run Flashpoint. Then when you export the missions, the changes made on the editor will be saved.

Yeah... so far I have been just loading my previous mission, then saving my newer changes as a whole new mission name.. then deleting the old mission.  That's kind of clunky if you ask me.  I don't know why the OFP editor will not just save over the old file like 99.9% of the rest of the world does it!? :)

I'll leave this thread open for a while in case somebody does know of a way...

Thanks

Thanks,
