Ignore the enter button, wait until clicked
« on: 19 Jun 2008, 22:38:40 »
Hello, I think I saw a post about this before but I had no luck in finding it  :dunno:

So I was wondering, how do I have my dialog not do anything until I click one of the buttons. Right now, when I open it, sometimes it clicks one of the buttons without me actually clicking.

Thanks

Well, the easy answer is to not use the enter key to perform the action that opens the dialog, since enter not only performs actions, but it also clicks the default button. Either click the mouse wheel to select the action or redefine another key to do this. And yes, I do think this was a foolish default binding by BIS!
