For people who don't see their WP description on the screen when they preview their mission simply exit then start a single player mission on cadet mode then exit the mission and go back to your editor. You should see your description in your WP.

As far as I know there are multiple options for waypoints to be disabled,     'never show'     'show in cadet'     'always show'.
Guess you were playing in veteran and had the 2nd option on?

Those refer to the waypoints being shown on the map (black lines with circles) during the game, they have nothing to do with the waypoints displayed on the 'HUD'..

Hmmmmm.....are you sure about that?

I was under the impression that the waypoints showed in the hud whilst playing in cadet mode AND in veteran mode if in a vehicle.

Nope, I'm right.
Maybe you should test things first ;)

Make a simple mission on the desert map, player soldier and one single waypoint.
Make three versions of it with the waypoint set to 'Never show', Show in cadet mode' and 'Always show'.

Export each into single player mission and test and you will see it is exactly like I told you it is:
- with 'never show' in cadet mode you will see the waypoint on the HUD and nothing on the map
- with 'show in cadet mode' you will see the WP on the HUD and on the map when you play in cadet mode, when in veteran mode you can't see either
- with 'always show' you will see the WP on the HUD and on the map in Cadet mode, in Veteran mode you will only see the WP on the map

Aye well, I probably would have tested it first, except, I don't have OFP or ArmA on this machine, my own machine is still awaiting surgery.
