Okay, in one of my missions, me and a couple of soldiers are at a base, right? I want it to be so that a vehicle at our base blows up and kills the people near me (I know how to do this), but at the same time, I want to be unharmed by the explosion. Then ten seconds later I'm vulnerable again. Is this possible?

This site has a great search feature.  Type "invincibility" in the Search For box, and you will find this thread which has your answer:

Heh, a long while before you replied I did actually use the Search. I looked in one thread and I didn't really understand some things. So I just left my thread here, thinking I might get a better answer than I did in one of the threads in the search.

Wait, that link was the thread I was talking about! :D

...And all I had to do was re-read a post in that thread and now I kinda get it... Ha, thanks man.
