Destroyed Vehicles

Is it possible to place a destroyed Shilka (at mission start) using the mission editor or must this be done via a script? I would like to design a mission in which several Shilkas have been previously destroyed and make them viewable (as objects). If this is indeed possible, how would I go about doing this?

Welcome to the forums, Jiver

You can 'destroy' a vehicle at the start of the mission by putting it's health, fuel and ammo bars down to zero. This way you won't get an explosion, though they sometimes smoke for a bit
