Spy Glasses

Don't know whether this is advanced or not but here goes:

I want to have a spy gone behind enemy lines and has to target a complex with a laser designater, HOWEVER, guards tend to get a tad suspicious when you;re carrying a 2 metre hunk of metal on you're back, so what I want to know is how to get the features of a laser designater into a pair a glasses that can be taken on or off and then a radio script which green lights the bombing run. 8)

See what I mean?

Also, if it's not too much trouble, I would like to use glasses on a number of scales, i.e Nightvision.
I've also been pondering whether or not Thermal Vision is possible on OFP, is it?
Does all this sound do-able or undo-able?

Cheers

Nobby ;)

1.  for the laser designator, you probably can, but it might take more than scripting (you might have to make an addon)

but i dont know much about addons, so i could easily be wrong

2.  for the green light, it can definitely be done with scripting

3.  for the thermal goggles, i doubt it is possible now because thermal goggles would require different amounts of light coming from certain objects, and nightvision just puts a green tint and increases the amount of light you can see (i think).  if it is possible, i think it will be have to be done by BIS, because it will require a lot of work (im guessing)

As the units in OFP carry no heat information, thermal goggles for real would be impossible. You could probably do a work-around, but it's likely that it would look like shite. Not saying that you can't do a good job, just saying that this is damn near impossible in OFP.

And it should be quite possible to do the laser-glasses.
And as for the combined nv, just add the NVG to the unit, and put them on when looking in your laser-glasses. Ta-daa.

Cheers guys, could you post us the "ADD SPECTACLES(NIGHT VISION)" script, so that when you put the glasses on you get a choice in the action menu to "GO NIGHT-VISION".

Cheers Again

PS, if it is quite possible to do the laser glasses then what is the script (or do I need an addon) for this?

Cheers

"when you put the glasses on you get a choice in the action menu to "GO NIGHT-VISION"

are you saying you want night vision without the goggles?  that would require an addon i think.  also, I don't think there is a way to check if someone is wearing glasses, so you will probably have to make an addon. same thing with the laser.

I'm not sure bout this but I once saw an script which was "how to add glasses to units", does such a script exist? If not, how do I do this?
Also, the night-vision I'm not so worried about but I think the laser designater glasses is a pretty good idea, even for me; is there any chance of you guys trying to do this for me? ;D

Cheers fellas.

Hey guys, I've been looking around my OFP downloads and I've come acrooss some glasses that I downloaded off OFP.CZ, I was wonderin whether or not I could use these glasses to perform the above functions. They can be found at the Misc addon section right near the end.
The glasses I have in mind is the first pair they have.
I still have yet not found the "add glasses to a player" script and was wonderin if a little help wunt go amiss.

Cheers guys
