Modelspecial on a launcher
« on: 13 Jan 2006, 20:59:32 »
ok ive made my laucher model, works lovely then i decided to copy the model and add a loaded rocket into the breech and set that as the modelspecial, but now when i take the launcher out in game the launcher is not resting on the dudes shoulder its floating in the air when i fire it jumps down where it should be.

1. autocenter = 0 must be a named property. (alt-p, rmb, -'new', name: autocenter, value: 0)

2. make two identical models - really identical in terms of polgons, mapping etc. in the model to-be-unloaded select the rocket, go to vertex properties and enable 'hidden vertex', this way you hide the rocket but the focal point stays the same in both models, hence it won't bounce forth any more when fired ;)
