Elevations in WRPtool
« on: 10 Jul 2005, 20:49:28 »
Is it possible to change the elevation in areas smaller than one cell?
(As in making fox holes, or trenches.)

If so, could someone give me a quick heads up on the technique?

You could try asking this at the WrpTool Forums

I seem to recall that someone released an island with half the normal cell size. (25 instead of 50 I think)

The texture cell were made smaller as a result meaning for more detailed textured landscapes.

However...

From what i've read, people who have tried have reported MASSIVE LAG, even on top spec systems. I dont know whether OFP can handle it smoothly.

you can find the island here, and yes, it does lag.  if you really want foxholes and trenches, your best bet is to find/make some custom foxhole/trench objects.
