Patrol Support script

Hey everyone,

here's an idea for a script that i might use in one of my missions.

When you shoot at a patrol, say in a classic black op mission, and you only manage to kill one of two patrol men, could  there be a script that represents a nearby patrol 'hearing' whats going on and rushing to their aid.

here's a summary:

(i) one of two patrol men gets shot.
(ii) nearby patrol 'hears' whats going on after first patrol man 'shouts' for aid
(iii) nearby patrol rushes to their aid.

This could be handy for adding realism to blackop missions etc.

The script might look something like this:

1. Loop check to see if anyone in the patrol is dead

2. check the distance of any group predifned as capable of hearing things. Edit: Check to make sure that it isn't the same group as the on being fired at, also make sure that the other group is not already under fire, possibly checking the leader to see if he "is ready".

3. if the distance is suitable then send the group over.

4. re-establish previous patrol of the group that heard the incident.
