help with bridges
« on: 06 Oct 2002, 20:01:59 »
I am having trouble placing bridges.  In Wrpedit, I set all the bridges at a height of 13 and uncheck the fit to ground box.  I then pbo the world and in the game, the bridges are at all different heights.  Can anyone help?

Gday Mate...
I am pretty sure planck will be able to help you..he helped me..however..regarding the un-even ness of the bridge..you must make sure that the water level isnt too deep..objects can be placed on ground and under but there seems to be a bug in the wrp-ofp in that objects cannot be placed above ground..they will all automatically fit to ground..I too had this problem for the first couple of weeks..nothing can be done other than redoing the heights:)
Hope this helps..

Gday again..
I forgot to mention..(its pretty obvious) that water is NOT a ground level..

hey,

If the area where yuo want to place the bridge over is not the same hieght..then it might be the problem. When you say  you want it 13 meters off the ground..then it means that its 13 meters above the ground exactly where you placed the 1st part of the bridge...

If you want to place the 2nd part of the bridge next to it..then you have to calculate the hieght ..thats only of the place is not the same hiehgt as the area of the 1st part. get it?

cheers
