Light source

How can I script a light source without using an addon?  Is it possible?  The closest I have got is using the drop command, but it just glows rather than emits light.

In a cutscene or during mission game play? It's fairly easy to do workarounds in cutscenes by placing vehicles with their lights on where the camera cannot see the vehicle itself.

I think there is a headlamp you can get through the editor addon, which lights up.   You could setPos it into the appropriate place.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

Sorry to drag this up, but how exactly did you turn that headlamp object on?

It won't go on by itself at night, and neither inFlame or switchLight seem to work when I try them...

Ya I can't get that Headlpamp to work either, Anyone know the answer, Also if it does work does the light flicker, Seems most the "inflame" lights flicker like its a fire LOL.
