Multiplayer introduction (cut scene)
« on: 09 Jan 2005, 16:19:51 »
Does anyone have any idea why the following might be occuring?

I've got a mission designed for multiplayer, with an intro. Now when I export it from the editor to single player, the intro works fine and moves on to the mission as it should.

However when I do the same but export it to multiplayer, Flashpoint just skips the intro completely and goes straight into the mission.

It does the same if I just copy the missions from the 'missions' directory into the 'MPmissions' directory.

Any ideas, as I've been completely stumped?

I don't think you can have Intros in MP, only cutscenes.

Nooooo!

That is a bit of a pain in the butt. Looks like I'll have to do some re-thinking, or maybe just stick with the single player side of things. Unless anyone knows of a workaround to get the intro working in MP?

you could try making it a cutscene at the beginning of the mission and then delete what you used for the "intro" part, or something like that

Yup, thats what I ended up doing. Cutting and pasting the stuff from intro into the mission, then deleting it when it was done. Cheers for the assitance. :)
