Somewhat of a funny question

I have the English verson of Operation Flashpoint and when I try to put Russian in the game like on markers it just comes out as ?? ?? ?? ? ?? ?? and crap like that. i was wondering if there is any easy way (easy as in not going to russia and buying the russian version)  to get my game to take russian characters. I think it would be a nice touch to my Russian mission.

Go in and find your OFP folder. Open it and look around, you should find an Operation Flashpoint Preferences icon, click it and choose your language.

Though mine only has:
English
French
Spanish
Italian
German

It was rather odd playing in Spainsh, to say the least. :P

I remember someone said something about this before... I believe that Russian is not supported by OFP. However, there are some unofficial ports that have been made, to support russian. But with your version of OFP, it isn't going to happen.

If you just want the markers to be Russian, you could make some new markers yourself. I don't know how to make markers, but I'm pretty sure there's a tute here somewhere, shouldn't be too tough... (def easier than going to Russia).
