Different Flares

The flares we know have to be shot into the air and are usually not a very good light source for extended periods of time.

Howabout using a flare that you hold. Maybe it acts like a fire with flicker at the edges and light flare option. And it would go out after awhile. Maybe they could be thrown too, the only problems I see will be walking with it.

Ideas? What do you think?

It does not sound like that hard to do. Lights have been added to rifles and flashlight that hang on uniforms. Somone just needs top come along and make one for you.

I did not know if you had seen it before, but there are these mulitcolor glowsticks. They are thrownlike grenades. It might give the long-term temporary light you are looking.

Well I'm not so much looking for it as suggesting. Isn't a flare much brighter than a glowstick anyways.

Just wondering if its possible or if it was doe before.

Well then if I were in your position I would just ask the addon maker to change his glow sticks into flares and release it as an addon.
