How can i make civilian to be a west or east unit?

How can i make resistance to be a west or east unit???

make your civvi and group him to either a western or an eastern guy (makeing sure the western or the eastern guy is the leader) then in the leaders init put

this basically makes the civvi on the side of the leader then deletes the leader from the game while the civvi stays on the west or east

You don't even need the deletevehicle this part:   just set the leader's probability of presence to 0.

Also, i'm pretty sure you can open the mission.sqm file in notepad and find your unit. change the part that says "CIV" to "EAST" or "WEST".

You can build the whole mission by writing the mission.sqm by hand.    The Mission Editor is not required, it just makes life easier.

You are right of course, but I think you'd have to be superhuman to do that Macca. At least very, very, clever.

Not really, you need a map of the island and a sense for math.
