Making Realistic Looking Cliffs

This relates to WrpEdit and WrpTool.

How can you create realistic looking cliffs in either of the said programs? The only ones I can do end up as man-made and bad looking when textured.

Part of the problem deals with the angle you approach them. WRP elevations are based off of the lower-left hand corner, and generally OFP maps are used with north == up. If you fly around Nogova for example, aside from a little spot on the mountain in the desert and the fjord up north, most of the cliffs are facing south, and the textures work right in that direction.

Spend some time flying around the NE portion of the Nogova river and look at those cliffs. Chechen Laghta has some okay ones (a bit excessive in places imho), but it also uses different textures.
