thx for the tute but it didnt work when I tried to do what it said: I put in the units init field
[unitname] playMove "FXStandSurUniv" and when the mission started the unit was not doing the animation? I also tried switchMove but to no affect I tried removing the units weapons the other animations and double checked to make sure they were entered right.
What else can I do?
                                     thankyou

Animations do not always work from init fields.    Put them in a waypoint instead.

Lose the square brackets [].    They denote an array, and this command has an object as its first argument, not an array.

Well don't quote them in the forum.   We assume that what you have written in the post is what you wrote in your mission.

If you want to demonstrate something in a post, don't use symbols - like square brackets or quotes - that have significance in ofp code.   Use italics or colours instead.  ;)
