Boarding a chopper
« on: 25 Sep 2004, 18:29:16 »
Ok, this is a simple question. I'm making a mission where you start in a base and you get orders to board a chopper. Now I put WP Get in for the squad and synchronized it with a WP move of the chopper. What I get is that the chopper takes off, and takes ages to land again to be boarded. ( The mission is an emergency, I can't wait >:()

How do you make the chopper start the engine and wait for the squad to board and then take off? (The chopper is not in the squad )

thanks

Use one of the chopper scripts in the Ed Dept such as snYpir's Quick chopper script.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

Have you tried setting the fuel of the chopper to 0 in the editor, and then setting it to 1 when they are all onboard?
