Im having the same problem Pertti I noticed in some spots they turn while in others they are fine so try and have it land on a different part of the beach.

Right, I have tried this out on your island pertti.

One Higgens boat, with driver + 5 soldiers In Cargo.

I have set the GET OUT waypoint on the area I want them to disembark.

They nearly always turn and head elsewhere.

With very steep coastlines it seems to work fine.
So maybe the steepness of the beach is a factor.

But, I also think where you place the waypoint also is a factor.

I have got it to work on your map by placing the waypoint only slightly beyond the last blue contour line on the coast. This of course was after I adjusted the slope of the beach slightly.

I don`t think this is a bug with WrpEdit, because I can duplicate the same strange behaviour on ALL islands, even Everon and Malden.

I think it came after resistance in v1.46 there wasnt any problem to get direct landing, but u can imagine if ill do invasion and put 20 boats and all start to make turns they crash each others lol and will be destroyed in gun fire besauce AI drive the last meters so slow :(

Ok....this isn't really a problem with the map (it happens on all maps)...this is an AI Behaviour thing...so this thread should probably be somewhere else ;)

But the way to fix this is to have the boat set on CARELESS at a TRANSPORT UNLOAD waypoint. You then set the troops on a GET OUT waypoint at the same place (they do not have to be set on CARELESS. This means the boat will land no matter how much gun fire is around. If you want more than one boat to land at a time use SYNCHRONISE to join up all the TRANSPORT UNLOAD waypoints. This can make a very nice beach storming effect.

Good luck (and look forward to the island)
