AI wants to get in vehicle with the enemy

I have an empty UAZ.  A Russian soldier gets in and starts to drive.  I select one of my team that is carrying a LAW but when I click on the UAZ the order is given to the AI LAW soldier to 'Get in', not to 'Target UAZ'.

The UAZ then stopped and waited for my man to get in!

Any ideas on how to fix this?

select your man, press 2, then click the target and he will target it, press 3 then click the target and he will attack

Thanks.  What I am really looking for is some way for the mission builder to remove the problem so that the player does not have to deal with it.

It also seems to be intermitent.  I only tried to tell my guy to attck the UAZ because he had not done so by himself - ususally I don't need to tell him he kills it without being told.

It's all the same mission.  Usually the AI kills the UAZ and once I had the problem described above
