HOW DO YOU ADD MUSIC FROM CDs TO A MISSION?
« on: 03 Aug 2004, 02:27:21 »
I have a ton of songs that would be really sweet to have in a mission, but there is one problem, HOW TO DO IT?! ???

I would love someone to tell me.  :D

Read the music and sound tut, the very first topic in this forum or cruise the ed depot. :P

Yeah, theres a pretty good tutorial buy O-Neil in the edtiors depot (Search for something like Sound tutorial in the editors depot)
But basicly, you convert the file to .ogg
Make up a discription.ext file
And use playmusic "songname" (Sorta) in your mission somewhere

Look for a program, DialoGG (In eds depot ;))
That makes up the discription.ext file for music, radio sounds, and sounds effects, and it simple to use :)

Oh, just noticed that you want it from a CD, not files on a computer... ::)
Find a program, CD-ex, and record the files to MP3, at a bitrate of about 128kb/s
Then use use dbPoweramp to convert them

Gd luck
