Realistic car bombs

Hey people,  ;D

I've been searching for good car bomb scripts and although they do work they just dnt seem that realistic especially in a car. Any ideas on good explosive car bombing scripts that wud actually cause proper damage to surrounding vehicles.

Ok maybe a fuel truck exploding may cause a bit of damge to nearby units and cars its not total destruction, which is the effect im looking for, for a cutscene and part of my mission.

Note: When i say ive tryed every car bomb script in the ed depot i lie but im sure there pretty similar.

 :hmm: Too much of an effort to try?
Anyway, if you camcreate an LGB in the car, it'll make quite a blast. You can also use a trigger to pick up a list of the surrounding units and setdammage them in a script.
Not all is lost.

Use Artak's idea except create like three more and spread them out or something.

Or use the one LGB and camcreate smaller explosions at the same time as the LGB like HEAT125 or something...

Can u do this for a car thats moving? I forgot to say that the car/truck needs to drive into a checkpoint and explode? I'll try armstrongs suicide script thingy, that cud do the trick, but any other suggetions?

"Distance" is possible for a driving car.

Armstrong's suiciders had a demo mission, where these cars were chasing you and if they got near, they would blow up. A pretty big explosion too. But there is some code involved though...
