Hi all

this is just a ask for help,

does anyone know the 'flagtexture' for the U.S. flag? I know the russian one is Rus_vlakja or something, but what is the American one?

Plz help!

shouldn't it be \flags\usa.jpg

since your synthax searches the mission folder, and mine searches the game

Quite right.  When I cut and pasted I cut too much.  To be precise I use a Flag (International) unit and in the init field put:
this setflagtexture"\flags\USA.jpg"

Well I say that's what I put.  I have never actually used a US flag in a mission.  Normally I use USSR or NATO.

Internation flag?

When i go to objects/flag , there is also an 'international' flag. Whats the difference?

flag is the original which works with the textures: usa_vlajka.pac and rus_vlajka.pac

when the flag pack was added, so was the international flag, which they told us to use with all the other flags (anything but the ones mentioned above) - I've never tried to add addon flags to the normal flag, or vice versa - but thats the difference

What are these new flags? I never knew we had them.

if you have resistance it came with that as standard... before then, it was an addon pack

Alrighty but how would I find out their names?

well... its pretty simple... if you want austria, you use:

this setflagtexture "\flags\austria.jpg

strangly enough the flags name is the same as the country its for

You can also use JPEG files in your mission dir.. With
this setflagtexture "myflag.jpg"
