How to PBO
« on: 07 Jul 2004, 02:50:13 »
How do you turn a mission into a PBO file? I used the editor options. It created a file that did not have a breifing and my scripts were missing. I used a PBO compression utility, but it made a file that OFP did not read as a mission.
Please help I want to get my first mission into the beta testing thread. :'(

Its not hard at all, get your scripts and briefings and all that good stuff into your mission folder, okay now go into OFP and go to edit your mission, then go to save and under the mission name there is a drag down menu and pick export to single player missions.

Now your mission is playable like the others in single player missions and its a .pbo, but remember to make it .zip before posting it for beta testing. :)

If it was mission the briefing and scripts they probably weren't in the right place.    You should have a folder called something like yourMission.cain, which is created automatically by the mission editor:  into that folder the game automatically puts the file mission.sqm and you have to add the other files to that folder manually.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
