im trying to get the m1a1 firing sound for the m1a1 in desertcombat
ive managed to extract it and convert it to wave with the wss tool
but when its extract in it sounds poor compared to the in game sound
and im just wondering if im doing something wrong
plz help cheers

just in case: are you probably using the ECP-mod?

Record it directly from the speaker with a mic.
Just be sure to wrap the speaker and the mic together in a thick wooly jumper.
Unorthodox but it works.
