in my mssion im wanting to have a text input area so i can type map coordinates then have a button next to the text field used for submittin the inputted data.

i have no experience in using the createdialog so please help!!!!

What you probably need is a dialog tutorial... Just look in the Tutorials section for my Dialog Tutorial, it should help you.  :)
