How to make a save game point in single player ?

This one I can't figure out, I need to make a save game point in a single mission game, anybody ?

I did search the FAQ first, but not sure the one I found is the one I want, you see, I want a trigger to save the game once, and only once when player1 enters a certain area.

all u need 2 do is 2 make a trig dat covering dat area like dat 1
