Making FlaK guns fire at planes?
« on: 22 Feb 2004, 00:16:07 »
I was wondering if anyone knew how to make a static weapon able to fire at planes? I was working on a WW2 Flak gun and have tried to make it's base class and that of it weapons all the MG's and AA's of the base game. Is there a command I can put in it's config file that will instruct it to fire at planes?

I do not think you can make static guns fire at all, but you can simulate them firing by using a script file.  There are several good "flak" scripts available in the editors depot including one by your's truley.  They all very slightly, so down load several and see which  one suits your scenario best.  None are very long, so the download shoud not take long.

You should define the AA gun similar to the M2 HMG and use an ammo that has the entry "airlock = 1;"
