Resistance Editor Merging?
« on: 14 Feb 2004, 12:04:09 »
At the minute myself and a mate are creating a new industrial co-op mission but we both do different bits from home. The problem we are getting is as follows: when he sends me a part of the indutrial area he has done it seems to overlap everything twice when i merge the two together, even the triggers and they dont work properly then.

Any help will be appreciated as this is getting so frustrated
Thanks.

Why dont you just copy and paste everything your friend made into your mission? You know, using Ctrl-C & Ctrl-V ;)

Yeah, doing this kind of thing can be tricky.

I usually also just copy + paste stuff over slowly, testing it along the way to make sure everything still works.  If not, then you are narrowing down the problem.   ;)   ;D

All the merge button does is add one mission to the other.   It doesn't check for duplicates or anything like that.     Before merging, you have to delete anything that will be doubled.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
