Why do you need a midi file?  Flashpoint uses oggs.  And its its not for flashpoint then its off topic.

It is technologically impossible (with current technology) to convert a sound sample (.wav, .mp3, .ogg, etc.) to the MIDI format.

Captain winters, MIDI formats play off your sound card, if it is for something, be aware that some people don't have this function in they're sound card, and this has to be off topic because the only thing I can think of what your doing with a MIDI file is converting MIDI to wav, to give the same file size, but thats NOT possible because MIDI files only contain the instructions for your sound card to play, thats why they're so small.
