Fake Tracers
« on: 15 Sep 2002, 14:00:59 »
Im looking for a script that, using the Resistance Drop command, can make fake coloured tracers whizz out from an area in a predefined direction.

Im looking for it to make a MP mission a little harder.  AI dont give a monkeys about incoming fire it seems, but racing tracers coming in will keep the heads of human players down, forcing them into a false sense of danger.

Idealy a script that you can specify the colour of the tracers.  So you can easily simulate East, West or Resistance fire.

No one. They are FAKE tracers, fired from out of no-where to look like someone did fire them.

This is a tricky one Icarus...

I know its a tricky one.  Unfortuntely the drop command is the most elusive one yet.  I have found no tutorials on it and as a result, dont understand it.

So I need someone to help me make this so I can finish my mission.

If they looked like the ones on Omaha in Medal of honor (on playstation not pc) that would be cool

ALSO: you mean like on the CTF mission "Overlord" in UT?
I believe that had tracer AND mortar fire.

Could you perhaps not have VERY distant (Undectable units) firing inaccurately?
