Mission help
« on: 29 Oct 2003, 19:06:22 »
Stupid...  :'(  I'am releasing my first mission and have made briefing, init, a script and overview. Now I need to know (oh no...) is how to put them together into .pbo file. I know that, that scripts don't go into same .pbo.
But how ???

Just export to single missions when you save.

Scripts DO go into the same.pbo.

You should have a folder somewhere called yourmission.eden (or whatever).    In that folder should be everything to do with the mission - mission.sqm, script.sqs, briefing.html, etc.     The only thing that does not go in there is your Readme.

Now go into the mission editor and export to single missions.    The .pbo will now appear in you Missions folder with everything correcly wrapped up in it.

Before you do the exporting thing, press and hold the shift key while you click Preview.   You should get the Briefing, so you know it's working correctly.

PS - congratulations on finishing your first mission!

Exatcly, (Ooops)
Exactly

I know because I've tested it before, everything's there.

Everything gets wrapped up in a little package, did you check to see if the briefing was there?

Anyway, this is just a third opinion.

Hurry and solve the thread

And last but not least:

do not try to rename your mission when exporting it, or
it will only be the mission.sqm file saved to pbo.

If you wanna change the name, just rename the mission folder
in windows, load it up in the editor and whoooop - export
the new named mission.
