Waypoint Queries
« on: 21 Aug 2003, 07:23:02 »
I sound like a real n00b but I don't know how to operate the 'Talk' and 'Scripted' waypoints :-[. It's probably really obvious and under my nose, oh well.

Grim, again it's me  ;D

Waypoint type scripted: requires scripting abilities

also it requires to deal with arrays.

I swear you, there are not that many out here, using
waypoint type Scripted.

The only explanation on this kind of waypoint i found yet,
was the one i made here on the forum.

check it out here:

http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=10697

But also i have to say: you are not at this stage yet, but
have a read at the link above, and you'll see for yourself.

I really fear, that there won't be many ppl willing to learn
you OFP editing from scratch (step by step).

Therefore they have those excellent tutorials/faq's here at
OFPEC.

I'll take a look :P...

Not to sound better than others but I'm a few short steps above a newbie (I was afraid of being known as a complete n00b by everyone, thus the embarrased face on my last post:P). What I mean is that I understand scripting very well and have no problems yet with it.

Grim, don't get me wrong here,

I can see that you learn quick, but as i figured out
you haven't gone through a tute yet, and upon the type
of your questions i've put you in that cathegory  :D

I'm sure, once you've gone throu' some tute's, you
can answer all your last questions by yourself  (except
the scripted waypoint, as there are no tutes for it) ;)

Then again the link above should lighten up this waypoint
for you.

Soz if i pushed you down the ladder again, just tryin to
make it easier for you and others.
