Face numbers for Resistance faces?
« on: 18 Aug 2003, 21:02:44 »
Has anyone found out what the values of the faces added in Resistance are? You know, the ones you use with the setface command (as in setface "face32" or whatever). I want to use the "Vlada N." face but I can't find or guess what number it is.

Well, I've got LustyPooh's Unofficial Command Reference... unfortunately, it came out before Resistance did.

The face numbers correspond to the order in which they appear in the player profile, offset by one I think.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

I think the answer will stem from the same source, since the female faces came out with Resistance (aside from Guba's secretary girl Anna which is apparently face99 and doesn't work). Never tried the setface command with a woman.
Macguba:
Yeh, but the res faces don't follow this pattern. They should be face53, face54 and face55 but they ain't, I've tried.

macguba is right. The list starts at 0, being the default face. For the rest, you just have to count.  ::)

As I just said, that doesn't work  ::). It works on all the original faces, but not the new(ish) ones. There are 52 original faces - following your logic the resistance faces should be 53, 54, 55 and 56 but they aren't. Putting in setface "face55" has no effect and gives you the default face (as it does for any inelligible value).

I think the original faces wil be numbered from 0 to 51 if there are 52 of them, I'm not sure about the Resistance ones, but I may look at that sometime........when I get the time that is.
