Dog Fight

I would like to make a dog-fight mission, and my question is: how can I make the AI aircrafts engage me, and how could I make the AI aircrafts as my targets?

I think they will engage you as default, at least if you have the latest patch. They fixed some dog fight issues in that one I believe.

The command "reveal" might help.

how about making a 'seek and destroy' waypoint or make the planes 'cycle' around the chosen area?

Or just a Destroy waypoint. Note that neither the A10 or Su25 (not so sure about the Su25s purpose) are intended as dogfighters... it shows when you try and use them as such. They're also too fast. Often you'll end up thousands of metres off the map, chasing one plane. It's not so bad with the Frogfoot (it's faster than the A10) but it would be useless with the A10 (it's slower and turns like slug on dope).

well ram i got the AIA mustangs and they work brill for dogfights without waypoints, try them maybe?

Erm yea the A10 and Su25 where never intended as dog fighters. A10 is Anti tank and I think the Su25 is used for ground support or something.

Well, I got some aircraft models, such as Vit's F-15, RAD (I think that's the name) F-18s, and some other stuff. But I will try that Mustang!
