If you click the Show ID button in the editor, it'll show you the object number of a specific bit of scenery like the bridge, or a house etc. You can refer to it as "object xxxxxx" then. Where xxxxxx is the objects number.  ;D

If you mean the Resistance bridge, it is called most_stred30.p3d and is located within the O.pbo.

There is another, smaller bridge, in the Resistance Data3d.pbo with exactly the same name.

SIGH!!!!

The p3d name means nothing to me, I don't recall saying I was making a island do you?

Soz but seems people don't understand the difference between a p3d name and a refference name,

I'm looking for a REFFERENCE name that can be used INSIDE the editor with camcreate or whatever.. I wish bis did allow for using raw P3d names but they didn't so I need the refference name insted.

Huhm, don't quote me on this (unless I'm right ;D) but I think the show ID button would come in handy nonetheless. You see, you can use it in conjuncture with a formatted hint-radio call. I think it might go bananas and start adding "scalarboolarraystring0xfffff" or something like that towards the end, but when I tested it, it gave me the proper name nonetheless (some time ago, haven't got OFP here, as per usual).

*ahem* Make trigger, activated by radio Alpha, in the On Activation field write:

hint format ["%1", object xxxxxx]

object xxxxx being the ID of the bridge. Now, I think this should maybe work. A shot in the dark if it doesn't, make it ["%1", name object xxxxx] instead.

My other suggestion would be that you'd download the appropriate editor addon, add the bridge in an empty desert island test map thing, and then open up the mission.sqm and just check what the Vehicle name is.

good luck

Hmmm,,,,,seems to me PRIME that if you had expressed EXACTLY what you meant at the beginning, we would all have  understoof your problem better.

BTW......any luck yet?

I tried that and it worked for me.

That was what it's reference was called too. Well, 'most_stred30' without the .p3d bit.
